Stories In Place

In April of 2020, Vimeo created a grant project, asking Staff Picked filmmakers to document a small business navigating a world in flux. Created in isolation in just twelve days, these eight films launched the series Stories In Place. A second round debuted a year later, this time featuring seven Black filmmakers sharing stories from behind the counter of their favorite Black-owned businesses.

I oversaw messaging and promotion for the campaign along with my partner, Gabe Towles. I take no credit for the films or original concept, which is owed to the filmmakers and curator Ina Pira, respectively.
